AUSTIN (KXAN) – Dapper head to toe, Phillip Wiggins has style and takes pride in looking good at work. He has been unemployed for three weeks after his self-made shoe shine trolley and bicycle were stolen.
The army veteran started his mobile business “Boots Shoes & Pumps” for the first time in 2019 after having had several difficult years behind him in which he had ended up against alcohol addiction, the loss of his wife and almost on the street. He was homeless in the true sense of the word. He was a man without a home. However, Wiggins was able to get in touch with Caritas, which helped him get back on track and find an apartment.
