The celebration of the 3 year old Austin FC fan catches the attention of the MLS club

A video of three-year-old Sebastian Heredia celebrating Austin FC goes viral and is even shared by the club and Major League Soccer.

The celebration of a little Austin FC fan goes viral across Austin.

In a video from Austin FC’s game against Houston Dynamo on Wednesday at Q2 Stadium, three-year-old Sebastian Heredia pulled his shirt off on his father’s shoulders and celebrated with other fans shortly after Austin scored his third goal.

“Luckily I was able to record him taking off his shirt and it’s pretty cute because he struggled with it,” said William Heredia, Sebastian’s father.

The video was shared by both Austin FC and Major League Soccer. “I was surprised to see the current Austin FC team reposted on their site. It was very exciting,” said Heredia.

Austin FC said fans like Sebastian are helping this new club grow.

“It was an incredible atmosphere and an incredible night. Moments like this show how much passion people are not just for the club but for the city and it’s something special, it’s absolutely special,” said Ryan Madden, VP of Austin FC communications.

Overall, Austin FC said they couldn’t be more grateful to their fans as they continue their first season.

“In the fan section you can see all walks of life. They are great fans and they are better people. It inspires the team every single home game to do their absolute best, there is no doubt about that,” said Madden.

Austin FC will travel to Frisco on Saturday to face FC Dallas.
