AUSTIN (KXAN) – More than 150 travel destinations in 65 countries on all seven continents. And all within nine months. This is what Royal Caribbean is offering its guests in a new “Ultimate World Cruise” and tickets are now available.
The 274-night adventure aboard the Serenade of the Seas cruise ship is touted as “the longest, most comprehensive cruise in the world”.
Governor Greg Abbott is facing increasing pressure to call the fourth special session
“This is the world cruise among world cruises,” said Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International. “Today, more than ever, people have decided to travel the world and make up for lost time.”
Round-trip travel from Miami starts on December 10, 2023 and returns on September 10, 2024.
It is a good thing that the trip will not set sail for two years, because you may need this time to save. Tickets start at $ 60,999 per person, with an additional $ 4,667 in taxes, fees, and port charges. If you pay in full by January 6, 2023, you can save 10% of the price.
Guests can book the entire nine-month trip or choose from four individual expeditions:
- “Around the Horn: America and Antarctica Expedition” (December 10, 2023 – February 11, 2024)
- Destinations include Chichen Itza, Christ the Redeemer, Iguazu Falls, and Machu Picchu
- “Wonders of Asia and the Pacific Expedition” (February 11 – May 9, 2024)
- Destinations include the Great Barrier Reef, the Great Wall of China, and the Taj Mahal
- “Treasures and Wonders of the Middle East of the Med Expedition” (May 9 – July 10, 2024)
- Destinations are Petra, the Pyramids of Giza, the Temple of Artemis and the Colosseum
- “Capitals of Culture” (July 10 – September 10, 2024)
- Destinations include the Sagrada Familia and Iceland’s Blue Lagoon
Would you like to book a ticket? You must call Royal Caribbean (you cannot book online) at (800) 423-2100 or book through a travel agent.
