Looking ahead:

  • On Thursday, July 15, the president will make a note to celebrate the day US families receive their first monthly American Rescue Plan tax break. Also on Thursday, the President will receive Chancellor Angela Merkel on an official working visit to the White House.
  • On Friday, July 16, the president will be remotely attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leadership retreat. Later on Friday, the president will travel to Camp David, where he will stay for the weekend.

Also on Friday, July 16, the First Lady will travel to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area in Minnesota.
