Austin, Texas – Jordan Windle received his unprecedented 21st Big 12 Diver of the Week Award after his performance at the UT Diving Invitational.
The All-American won two of the three events held in Austin last weekend, starting with the 3-meter. Texas A & M’s Windle and Kurtis Matthews shared the title after finishing second after six laps. The couple’s last dive was 463.05 points, giving each team their first win of the weekend.
The four-time winner of the Big 12 Diver of the Year also took the platform title as the only participant to crack 400 points in the event. Windle shone with 402.35 points and won his seventh event of the 2021/22 season.
Wednesday’s award is Windle’s fourth Big 12 Diver of the Week award of the season.
The Longhorns will travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota December 1-4 to take on Minnesota for the fifth time of the season.
